The vast New Forest is literally on the doorstep, 93,000 acres of majestic woodland and heath, teeming with wildlife, where ponies, cattle, donkeys, pigs and deer roam free and just 90 minutes from London. The New Forest is the ideal location to pull on the wellies, hiking boots, riding boots or running shoes and walk, cycle or ride through the beautiful unspoilt countryside. There are cosy traditional pubs or there is relaxation to be enjoyed at the local spas after a long day.

Lymington is our closest town, just ten minutes away. This is a beautiful coastal town with a quay, that offers a selection of shops and has a market every Saturday morning. Also from Lymington you can catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight, another destination with plenty to explore.

There is a wealth of things to do and attractions to see including Paultons Park (which Includes Peppa Pig World), Beaulieu Palace House and Motor Museum, Bucklers Hard, Exbury Gardens, Christchurch Harbour and Hurst Castle. There are a host of New Forest villages to explore with lots of home produce and tea rooms. Throughout the area is an excellent wide variety of Restaurants offering food to suit all tastes and pockets.

Your pets are welcome too! For your horse/s there is grazing (post and railed paddocks) and/or stabling (DIY with bedding) available. There are lovely pubs to hack to, lots with a waiting hitching rail! There is also a choice of excellent riding stables within easy reach.

The nearest bathing beach is four miles away at Milford-on-Sea, also a popular bathing beach at Highcliffe and sandy beaches at Bournemouth further along the coast. Nearest large shopping centres are at Bournemouth and Southampton.
